Zakarya Aldeeb, a 12-year-old student in Doha, has always been captivated by wildlife and biodiversity. He wrote the first book in his “The Wild World” series, “Deserts,” at the age of 10, because he wants to share his knowledge and interests with others. The Qatar National Library (QNL) featured this book, and it was subsequently released on Amazon for sale to individuals all over the world.
He started the initiative because he was passionate about wildlife and saw how important it was to the planet. He intended to give individuals a simple, basic, yet educational approach to learn about this. As a result, he started working on the series, choosing some of the highly adapted species that live in deserts all over the world, and explaining in detail a number of characteristics that make them and their living conditions distinctive.
Over the course of 128 pages, the book examines 10 different animals, providing explanations, examples, and pictures of how each animal adapts to its environment and goes about living its life, including social hierarchies and more. With data on behavior and daily life gathered from respected zoos and nature reserves, the book’s information has been compiled from a number of reliable and accepted sources. He intends to carry the series further by producing additional, more sophisticated publications.
