Qatar calls on international community for de-escalation and restraint amid regional developments

The State of Qatar has urged on all parties to stop the escalation, encourage calm, and use the utmost caution in response to the events taking place in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to act quickly to reduce tension and de-escalate the situation in the region in a statement on April 14, 2024. Additionally, the ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to backing all regional and global initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability on both a regional and global scale.
