Greece and Qatar discuss enhancing business and investment ties.

Yesterday, an official discussion took place at the Amiri Diwan between the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic H E Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

They exchanged opinions on important regional and global concerns and discussed ways to strengthen collaborative collaboration, particularly in the economy and investment industries.

The session was attended by H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; H E Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs; H E Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and H E Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Misnad

H E Konstantinos Skrekas, the minister of the environment and energy for Greece, as well as a number of other representatives from the country’s official delegation, attended the meeting.

In a separate bilateral discussion, the Amir and the Greek Prime Minister discussed a number of topics of relevance.

The Greek Prime Minister had previously arrived at the Amiri Diwan to a formal welcome ceremony.

The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum was also visited by the Amir and the Prime Minister of Greece.

They received an introduction to the history, legacy, and Olympic Games, particularly the Classical Olympic Games, throughout the visit. They also witnessed sports memorabilia dating back to the earliest days of sports from all over the world.

The Greek Prime Minister and H H the Amir also observed visual exhibits that highlighted the history of the Olympic Games since its inception in Greece and featured pictures and data on athletes from other nations.

H H the Amir gave a luncheon reception in honor of the Greek Prime Minister and the visiting entourage at the end of the visit.
