2020 saw the opening of Ethiopian Community International School (ECIS). Although the school is now accepting students in KG-1 and KG-2, it has the license to teach children in grades KG through secondary. First and Second Grades According to the Ethiopian Embassy, the Ethiopian expat community has been eagerly anticipating the school’s debut for an extended period of time. The opening of the school will come as a huge comfort to many Ethiopian expats who were forced to send their children back home to complete their education. Ultimately, no school was providing an Ethiopian curriculum.
The main building, cafeteria, kindergarten building, play area, and green space where children can play football, volleyball, and other sports are all included in the 15,700 square meter school complex. The school facility has locker facilities, a library, and classrooms that are all completely furnished.
