The work schedule for financial institutions in Qatar during the 2018 FIFA World Cup has been released by the country’s central bank, Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
Yesterday, QCB announced on social media that it has been agreed to structure work as follows: 1. Financial institution branches with their main offices on Grand Hamad Street or close to the Doha Corniche are required to have 20% of their staff on-site, while the remaining 80% work remotely.
The working hours shall be in accordance with the working hours currently in force. 2. As for branches of financial institutions whose headquarters are not located in the above areas, work shall continue in accordance with the current work system. The circular is effective from November 1-December 19.
