Qatar will be whole world’s home in a matter of weeks, says Infantino
Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, declared on Thursday that due to the efforts of both FIFA and Qatar in producing an outstanding event at all levels, Qatar would soon serve as a home for the entire world.
As of November 20, the globe would see the most exquisite World Cup edition, according to Infantino, who was speaking on the “Power of Sports” during the concluding session of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH 2022).
He emphasized Qatar’s significant benefits from hosting the event.
“The world saw this after the Qatari national team won the Asian Nations Cup in 2019, which manifested the great qualitative leap that Qatari football has achieved and the transformation of Doha into a capital of world sports,” Infantino said.
The FIFA President praised the Qatari officials for putting the vision into action and making good changes to offer the best World Cup ever, the most significant football competition to be held as the COVID-19 pandemic is coming to an end.
The World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH 2022), which was held this year under the theme “Healing the Future,” concentrated on four key topics: the legacy of COVID-19; accessibility for people with disabilities; sport and health; and wellness.
