Qatar Tourism to demonstrate latest developments at ITB China
In an effort to showcase its latest services, position Qatar as a top travel destination, and draw investment into the travel and tourism industries, Qatar Tourism took part in ITB China 2024 this month, which took place in Shanghai from May 27 to 29. A group of sixteen travel and hospitality partners was led by Qatar Tourism. Leading trade show experts from all over the world come together at ITB China, a B2B-only event dedicated to the Chinese travel market.
Through dialogues, productive exchanges, and networking events, ITB China promotes conversations between influential people and organizations in order to optimize commercial prospects. ITB China was held at the Shanghai World Expo and Exhibition Center this year.
Omar Al Jaber, Acting Chief of the Tourism Development Sector at Qatar Tourism, commented on the occasion, saying: “Qatar Tourism showcased the nation’s recent developments, achievements, and advancements in the travel and tourism sectors to industry leaders from around the world through its participation at ITB China 2024.” The goal of Qatar Tourism is to enhance the traveler experience. Events like ITB China give Qatar Tourism a stage to draw in investors and showcase the country’s top tourism attractions.
In order to further develop the Chinese tourism business in the years to come, ITB China provides a forum for showcasing Chinese travel market trends to investors and stakeholders from across the globe. Since China is one of Qatar Tourism’s top 15 priority source markets, ITB China is a crucial platform for showcasing Qatar’s products and services to both domestic and foreign consumers.
Participating in ITB Berlin 2024 earlier this year in March, Qatar Tourism talked about the launch of the “Double the Discovery” initiative in association with the Saudi Tourism Authority, which aims to give travelers the opportunity to see historical sites and cultural landmarks in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar in a single trip. Additionally, Qatar Tourism talked about their relationship with Qatar Airways to offer Stopover Packages to guests who only have a short stay in the country.
