Qatar Post launches a new stamp set for ‘Qatari Football Victories’
A new collection of stamps within a series released in honor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, has been unveiled by Qatar Post. The competition is the first of its sort to take place in the region.
“Qatari Football Victories” refers to these most recent additions, which Qatar achieved in the years listed below: World Youth Cup 1981 (ranked second in the world), and 1992 Arabian Gulf Cup Champion. Football gold medalist from the Asian Games in 2006 and the 2019 AFC Asian Cup champion. For the first day, 20,000 stamps, 2000 folders, and 3000 envelopes will be printed and distributed.
The price of the stamp set is QR14, QR100 for the folder, and QR15 for the envelope.
Qatar Post will be documenting all the activities and preparations that Qatar is making to host the tournament through distinctive designs that reflect the unique culture of Qatar, combining both authenticity with modernity, making history and shaping the future, as the first Arab country to host the FIFA World Cup in the Middle East.
Another series of stamps have been issued for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: World Cup logo, World Cup stadiums, FIFA Classic (the three previous tournaments), the official mascot of Qatar’s FIFA World Cup (La’eeb), the official tournament poster, and the groups (teams to play in the tournament).
