Qatar opens first ever ‘ladies only’ cafe

The Pearl Island stated on its social media platforms that the first “women only” cafe in the Gulf country had just opened its doors to the general public.

All women work at the Special Ladies Cafe in Qanat Quartier, which only allows women and kids to eat inside. It offers a selection of cool drinks, delicious coffee that has just been brewed, and quick nibbles that you can share with your girls for a great night out.

Although this is the first café of its kind in the nation, women-only dining rooms and establishments have become more common throughout the region over time, mainly among more orthodox social circles.

The United Arab Emirates, a neighboring country, has at least four female-only cafés spread throughout several neighborhoods. Since their inauguration, all of these establishments have drawn sizable crowds of customers.

Due to the privacy and cultural convenience it offers women, other areas reserved for women only, such as gyms, salons, and beaches, are already well-known tourist destinations in Qatar.

Women-only days are also offered by a number of hotels in the nation, including Wyndham Doha WestBay, Golden Tulip, and Intercontinental Doha Spa.

The new Al Mamlaha women’s beach in the north of the country has recently proven to be popular. Simaisma beach features a part exclusively for women during the week.

A ladies-only night is held every Monday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Education City’s Oxygen Park for people who like to work out outside but would prefer a little bit of privacy.

The park offers the ideal amenities for any inclination, whether you want to take a leisurely stroll or go for a brisk run.
