Qatar International Arts Festival 2022 concludes on Friday
According to Rashmi Agarwal, founder and president of MAPS International, the fourth Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF) offered a forum for artistic and visual communication, the exchange of experiences and ideas, and built a creative platform that drew a renowned group of artists.
The exhibition, which runs until Friday at Katara – the Cultural Village, features more than 600 works by 300 artists from 65 different nations, as well as from different generations, spectra, and art schools.
According to Agarwal, QIAF 2022 also gathered talented individuals of all ages who had the chance to explore aesthetic and artistic values through a variety of creative techniques and methodologies.

Agarwal lauded the atmosphere of creativity provided by Katara, which prevailed during the days of the festival and had a prominent and active role in highlighting the creative capabilities of artists, which was reflected on its success and distinction.
The festival featured various activities that drew a large number of visitors, who had the chance to see unique works: from drawings and paintings to sculptures and graphics, presented by hundreds of participating artists. It also hosted live art demonstrations, interactive sessions, and painting workshops, in addition to musical performances and fashion shows amid remarkable admiration from the public and visitors.
