The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani said on Tuesday the country’s economy is expected to grow 4.9% this year due to the rise in energy prices and the positive impact of the policies and measures adopted by the state.
Amir was addressing the opening session of the Qatar Economic Forum, a conference organised by Bloomberg.
Amir stated that the forum aims at enriching dialogue on strategic issues.
He further added that the pandemic revealed the extent of the gap between rich and poor nations and further contributed to increasing the gap.
