35 extra gates have been put in nine Doha Metro stations as part of Qatar Rail’s preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

According to Qatar Rail, these nine metro stations are those that connect to the stadiums and fan entertainment venues, where large crowds are anticipated. The extra gates will make it easier for fans to move around within stations.
According to a different update from Doha Metro and Lusail Tram, persons who have a Hayya Card will be able to use the metro service for free beginning on November 10, 2022, and continuing until December 23, 2022.
