Lusail Sports Club is delivering a FIFA World Cup legacy ahead of the big kick-off: Official

Nawaf Al Mudahka, the president of Lusail Sports Club, has emphasized that Lusail SC is delivering the legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 before the start of the competition by taking an active role in community football promotion and serving as a cutting-edge sports destination that draws people from Lusail City and the surrounding areas.

Al Mudahka made the following claims on the website of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy: “This location serves as more than just a sports club. These top-notch amenities are available to Lusail residents only. People of many ages, races, and nations come here to train. The players can advance all the way to the first team starting at a very young age.”

The Al Egla training facility is home to the Lusail Sports Club, which is close to the Lusail Stadium, which will play host to the Lusail Super Cup on Friday, September 9. The game will feature a concert by the Arab music icon Amr Diab and will be between the Saudi Al-Hilal and Zamalek Egyptian clubs.

The stadium will host the FIFA World Cup final on December 18, Qatar National Day.

One of the components of the sustainable community legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is the Al Egla training site, which is home to the Lusail Sports Club. It has developed into a bustling sports destination in recent years, hosting weekly football training activities for girls and boys from the city of Lusail and beyond.

While this was going on, Ciaran Kelly, the Technical Director for Lusail SCs, described how the club had prospered as a result of its affiliation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), the group in charge of constructing the infrastructure and leaving a legacy for Qatar 2022.

“We were able to utilize the amenities here in Al Egla thanks to a collaboration with the SC. There are 600 players at the program right now, some of them as young as three. We are extremely lucky to use Al Egla, which provides access to a World Cup training facility for the entire Lusail community “added Kelly.

Young players who train at Al Egla every week expressed their admiration for the well equipped training facility. They are amazed by the facilities.
“It’s absurd to imagine that renowned athletes will take the field here. I can’t believe Messi or Neymar will train here “Jada Alami, a player for the girls’ U16 team, remarked.

Sanjar Ovezob, from the boys’ U17s team, said: “The pitch is perfect. Playing here is comfortable and easy. It’s one of the best facilities I’ve played in.”

The Al Egla training site, which provides a vital community facility for the ever-growing city of Lusail, will host the Korea and Tunisia national teams’ training sessions during the FIFA World Cup, which will be held from November 21 to December 18.

Al Egla and more than 30 other training sites will form the backbone of Qatar’s compact tournament plans. For the first time in modern history, players will stay and train in the same place throughout the FIFA World Cup, meaning more time for rest and recuperation.

The event’s condensed format will also assist spectators by allowing them to witness more than one game per day in the preliminary rounds.

Additionally, the proximity will benefit fans in a variety of ways, chief among them the opportunity to attend multiple matches in a single day during the preliminary rounds of competitions and take advantage of Qatar’s wealth of diverse tourist attractions, all of which are close to the championship stadiums.
