FIFA launches Qatar 2022 ticketing application; counter sales to begin tomorrow
FIFA announced the launch of a new ticketing application that is available for Apple and Android users, at the Google Play and App Store, for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The FIFA World Cup 2022 Tickets app will make it simple for users to find their tickets, change their information, and send them to others.
At the first of the two ticketing locations that will open in the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, counter sales of real tickets will also start tomorrow, October 18. (DECC).
At today’s “One Month To Go” press conference in Doha, Colin Smith, the FIFA World Cup’s chief operating officer, made these announcements.
Smith said that, “For those fans who have bought the tickets, you will receive an email this week with information on how to download the ticketing app and therefore how to access your mobile tickets.” He further clarified that mobile tickets are separate from Hayya Card and both are required to enter the stadium.
Smith noted that the first of the two ticketing locations that will operate at DECC will start selling actual tickets as of tomorrow, October 18. Fans can get help here if they have purchased tickets or if they want to buy them for games that still have open seats, he said.
