In order to prepare for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Qatar Rail established free travel using the Hayya Card.
Free rides using a Hayya Card are valid until December 23, 2022, after which only a Travel Card will be accepted for access to the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram.
