Doha continues to impress global World Cup fans
Fans from all around the world are still in awe of Qatar’s success in hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022 as an event that is inspiring and deserving of praise.
Fans have been awestruck by the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022’s excellent matches, stunning stadiums, and famous tourism attractions. After only a few days, the majority of them have established favorite locations and grown fond of the storied stadiums.
Fans have found spots to come together beyond the stadiums and the on-pitch action and experience football in new and unique venues.
Qatar’s successful hosting of the World Cup is acclaimed by football fans have flocked to Doha to attend the tournament. A smoothly-run tournament with fantastic atmosphere has soothed the fans.
Zach
Zach, a 15 years old South African is in all admiration of Doha and the football matches. “It is an amazing experience to be here,” he said wearing the orange t-shirt gifted during the opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He has travlled from the US with his mother lynn to watch the World Cup and here for four days. “We watched the opening game. The stadium is beautiful. I liked the architecture,” said Iynn. She said that Al Bayt Stadium’s magnificent tent structure and its modern facilities are a perfect blend and very impressive.
“Besides the games I like the diversity here and Souq Waqif is my favourite spot. It is charming and like the traditional look of it,” said lynn. Qatar’s architecture which incorporates geometric shapes, traditional designs and the country’s landscape has also impressed fans.
“People here are warm and welcoming and Doha is a beautiful city,” said Joao Costa with his wife and friends tarvelled here for four from Portugal.
“We like the impressive architecture around the place with the perfect fusion of traditional style and modern architecture,” he said adding that the Doha skyline with ultra-modern skyscrapers tower over the city’s waterfront is beautiful in the nights.
A Costa Rica fan Xavier who is here for the World Cup said, “The stadiums are very impressive and all places are impressive here. It’s a new experience.” He was walking around Musheireb Downtown and added, “Look at this place, it looks contemporary and has fine infrastructure.”
Xavier who has experienced Middle Eastern and Arab hospitality for the first time said, “Every place we go people and staff are very warm.”
