Bosch, the German technology giant, recently showcased advancements in the fields of CCTV, access control, public address, voice alarm, conference and intrusion systems in Doha.
The event was organised by Video Home & Electronic Centre, which has been associated with Bosch since 2014 for the distribution of security and surveillance products across Qatar.

Addressing leading system integrators at the event, Ahmad Abou Zainab, regional business development manager, said: “Bosch launched new products, services and software for creating customised solutions that enhance security, improve safety and deliver insights.”
A new video surveillance service was explained, offering the flexibility to monitor, manage, record and reply from anywhere. It helps site managers and security and operations teams to make quick decisions when faced with alarms, preventing them from becoming accidents.
Praesensa, a fully IP-based and feature-rich, state-of-the-art public address and voice communication system combines superior cost efficiency and audio quality with ease of installation, integration and use, a press statement notes. A built-in redundancy feature of Praesensa highlights the feature of no single point of failure in the system.
Bosch access control systems with BIS integrations seamlessly connect with other Bosch subsystems and third-party systems through OPC protocol for efficient operation by controlling, monitoring and investigation via a single point, the statement explains.
