All ChatGPT Free users now have access to a number of advanced capabilities that were previously only available to paying subscribers thanks to OpenAI’s expansion of its free tier services. With this update, OpenAI’s most recent AI model, GPT-4o, has been released. It has features including file uploads, data analysis, web browsing, and customized GPTs.
It is anticipated that this change would improve user experience and increase the range of actions that may be carried out on the ChatGPT platform. While still offering GPT-4-level intelligence, ChatGPT 4o is significantly faster and has enhanced text, speech, and vision capabilities.
In the past, free users could access some functions on GPT, while paying users could access all of the capabilities available on GPT. However, GPT 4o has altered the dynamics. Benefits like increased message and chat limits with GPT-4o are still available to paid members. Free users fall back to the GPT-3.5 model after their allotted time is up.
