Qatar Airways concludes Expo 2023 journey

With great success, Qatar Airways, the Official Strategic Partner of Expo 2023 Doha, has concluded an exciting six months of the event. Through a variety of exhibition displays, panel discussions, and public events, the largest horticultural expo in the MENA area this year promoted awareness about climate change and desertification.

The renowned airline and Hamad International Airport (DOH) worked together on a joint venture to plan and construct the magnificent Qatar Airways Garden. during 250,000 people visited the “Qatar Airways Garden,” one of the most popular pavilions at Expo, during the course of the six-month event. Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Qatar Airways were major contributors to the attendance of visitors from approximately 170 international locations at Expo 2023 Doha.

A massive yellow teddy bear, a famous nod to Lamp Bear at Hamad International Airport, welcomed guests, along with notable sites from all the continents that Qatar Airlines serves. “Quatar is solidifying its role in hosting large-scale global events with the successful conclusion of Expo 2023 Doha,” stated Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group.

By introducing the Expo 2023 Doha livery into its aircraft and celebrating its status as the Official Strategic Partner, Qatar Airways laid the groundwork for this historic occasion. Over the course of the six months, the Qatar Airways Garden included a range of events, captivating demonstrations, and cultural presentations that showcased the multifarious customs across the globe. In order to promote the biggest horticultural show in the area, the airline also organized familiarization flights.
