Williams brothers to participate in World Cup with two different teams
The Williams brothers, Inaki and Nicholas, will compete in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which runs from November 20 to December 18. They will represent two different nations.
Nicolas, on the other hand, will be representing the Spanish national squad while Inaki will be representing his own Ghana.
Spain is in Group E, which also includes Germany, Japan, and Costa Rica, while Ghana is in Group H, which also includes Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.
The two brothers play with the Spanish team Atletico Bilbao, where they gave the team a great start to this season where they have continued to dazzle with their brilliance and high technical abilities.
Inaki, 28, set a record for the Spanish League by playing in 203 straight games, but he hasn’t competed for Spain since 2016, and his brother Nicholas, 20, has only recently begun his professional career and has played in a handful of games for the Spanish club.
The older brother will now be representing Ghana after finally converting from Spain, his natal country, to the nation of his parents.
Nicholas will be playing for the Spanish national team after taking part in the European Nations League for the first time last September.
