The United States Embassy in Qatar gets into the spirit of football with a humorous film to promote the game 30 days before the FIFA World Cup begins.
Timmy T. Davis, the US ambassador to Doha, first expresses his concern to a staff member that there wasn’t enough excitement for the World Cup before he decides to create some.
The Ambassador then parades about the embassy complex flaunting his football prowess while dressed in a formal outfit. The film concludes with the phrase “It’s time to get enthusiastic for the World Cup” in front of the US flag outside the embassy.
