Qatar takes part in GCC-Jordan education talks

At their sixth summit on education in Amman, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations and Jordan are joined by Qatar.
The executive program of the joint work plan on education for the years 2023–2027 will be adopted following the three-day meeting.
Speaking during the gathering, HE Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Naimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, said that such gatherings will act as a work schedule for educational cooperation over the next five years.
He urged taking advantage of academic, research, practical, scientific, and training opportunities while also contemplating ways to challenge conventional educational ideas.
HE Dr. al-Naimi emphasized the significance of emphasizing varied experiences in technical education and vocational training to address global advancements, labor market issues, and unemployment rates.
He urged universities to improve their competitiveness by boosting the ideas of academic accreditation and providing top-notch education.
Field trips to several Jordanian universities, other institutions of higher learning, and certain schools will form part of the gathering. – QNA
