Qatar, Zambia sign air transport co-operation agreement

An agreement pertaining to unrestricted air travel between Zambia and Qatar was signed on Tuesday. Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti, the minister of transport for Qatar, and Frank Museba Tayali, the minister of transport and logistics for Zambia, signed the deal.

The deal is part of a larger framework connecting Qatar to air services agreements, which allows the state airline to broaden its network of destinations to include more international locations. Following the signing ceremony, HE al-Sulaiti met with the minister of Zambia to discuss measures to improve bilateral ties between the two nations in the areas of civil aviation and transportation services.
