Al-Kuwari said Qatar and Sierra Leone are enjoying strong relations based on mutual respect and trust.
Despite the close relationship between the two countries, their bilateral trade is still weak, which can be enhanced.
There are substantial opportunities in the agricultural and mining sectors in Sierra Leone, and these provide promising opportunities for investment and open the way for the development of cooperation between Qatari and Sierra Leonean companies.
Qatari businessmen keen on learning about investment opportunities available in Africa in general, and Sierra Leone in particular can make use of that.
He stressed the interest of Qatar Chamber to enhance co-operation between the private sector in both friendly countries, as well as encouraging Qatari investors to invest in Sierra Leone.
