MoPH withdraws a spreadable chocolate product from Qatar market

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the withdrawal of a chocolate spread product “Spar Spreadup Choco” from the local market and called on people who are allergic to almonds not to consume it.

The product from Belgium is being removed from sales outlets for not indicating on the product label that it contains almond nuts that cause allergies in some people.
