Hosts Qatar unveil FIFA World Cup jerseys
With only 66 days till kickoff, the host nation of Qatar presented its FIFA World Cup 2022 uniforms. Al Annabi heroes will wear the maroon (home) and white (away) jerseys throughout the football extravaganza.
The stylish shirts were created by Nike.
“To mimic the Qatari flag, the Qatari home uniform blends Desert Maroon with white serrated trim. Qatar’s status as a host country is highlighted by the crest on the upper chest. The away uniform pays homage to Qatar’s shoreline while a subdued design of pearls overlay references the tradition of pearl diving in the nearby atolls. The kit is intended to move like a sandstorm spinning in the scorching sun, according to a statement on Nike’s website.
Kits and training kits are supported by Nike’s pinnacle apparel material platform, Dri-FIT ADV. A cutting-edge, lightweight kit is created by combining match kits and training clothing with thorough computational design based on a 4D-model, it stated.
The new seamless kit has been pixel-by-pixel developed to offer exact strengthening and venting for uninhibited play. Fluid cut lines that match throughout the shirt and shorts, even while the athlete is moving, are another characteristic of the new, distinctive style of the kits and training kits.
On November 20, Qatar will play its first World Cup game against Ecuador in Group A. Senegal and the Netherlands are also included in the group.
