Condolence books to be kept at Ritz-Carlton from Sunday
Beginning on Sunday, condolence books will be available at the Ritz-Carlton, Doha’s Fateh Al Khair room for guests to leave tributes for the recently deceased Queen Elizabeth II.
The condolence books will be accessible to everybody from Sunday through September 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as on September 17 and 18, also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a tweet from the British ambassador to Qatar, Jon Wilks. He continued, “Flowers may also be left at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.”

The Anglican Church of the Epiphany, which is housed in the Religious Complex, will hold a Service of Commemoration on September 15 at 7 o’clock, according to the envoy. There will also be a guest book available at that time. It is necessary to register in advance with the British embassy in order to attend the service. There will be another announcement soon with information on how to register. Meanwhile, Wilks said that the Union Flag was raised at the British embassy on Saturday to commemorate King Charles III’s accession. It will remain at half-mast until the day following Queen Elizabeth II’s royal burial.
